Usage:
Select a Genesis 8 Female or Male character in your scene and apply the desired wearable preset to load the shield with or without a boss (the metal dome in the middle). Then apply any of the hierarchical material “Combo” presets to get any of 12 different looks combining paints and damage. You can combine paint colors and designs with different damage presets to make hundreds of your own looks for the shield.
Tips:
Be sure to apply the damage presets with the shield selected, as they are hierarchical material presets. Apply paint colors and styles with either of the shield’s paint layers selected, as these are standard material presets. The paint layers (Paint Layer 1 and Paint Layer 2) and the Damage Layer are geometry shells parented to the shield.
