Cybertech Stand Prop

cybertech-stand-prop

This was initially intended just to be for a way to showcase characters from an upcoming project. Then it spawned into something of mini project in it’s own, winding up as a discord server freebie in part with plans to release the modular version as a paid product. However, the more I worked with it, the more I noticed issues and the less okay I was with that idea.
It varies in mesh quality from place to place which means optimizing it somehow left my mind entirely during the process (I haven’t had any issues during the serval renders I’ve done with it, but still). There are some clipping issues with the “extra” cables I hadn’t previously noticed as well as the movement of some cables, overall, being a bit odd. I also forgot to fix the base’s…base uv, so don’t flip that thing over.

That said, it’s still pretty fun to play around with and maybe someone can get some use out of it. It’s sized such that it will fit most G9 and G8 models as long as they aren’t massively tall.

Try Bluehost its fast

As a final note, the base loads below ‘ground’ level. Since I intended to use it to show off characters, that was the easiest option for quickly loading standing poses.

Includes:

1 Base
1 Top Cap
1 Top Cables (with plugs and hooks)
1 Base Cable (with vent pipes)
1 Extra Cable (that would be your clipping issues one)
4 “Mist” (for use with included vdbs)
1 Screen Tube
1 Light Ring

1 Scene Subset load for the full stand that H.Mat can be applied to

8 H.Mat presets for the ‘Clean’ versions of the color schemes
8 ‘Clean’ Mats for Top Cap, Base, and Base Cables & 24 ‘Grunge’ Mats split into 3 styles for each primary color scheme set
9 Emissive Mats for the Light Ring and Screen
8 vdb mats for the Mist with 2 Density Helpers

Thanks for checking things out and, as always, if you have any issues or run into any bugs, please let me know! I’ll try to get them fixed asap.
